Shippable

It started with us wanting to use the flavours of Pistachio & Rose in a cookie (very festive, right?). Idea was to make it portable and eggless too - all in the name of this festive season while keeping the delivery Gods happy. Good intentions don't go in vain so here we have a delicious cross between a cookie, frangipane tart, brownie and a barfi!

It starts with a base layer of buttery crumbly biscuit, followed by a baked pistachio & rose frangipane. To balance the fragrant sweetness of rose & pistachio, we went with a layer of baked dark chocolate custard topped with more chopped pistachio, dried rose petals and a handful of sea salt.

It's biscuity, nutty, gooey with a touch of mystery thanks to the rose. A slice of this with a cup of coffee will work wonderfully although adding a scoop of ice cream could turn it into a worthy dessert.
